ABOUT THE SHOW
Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's famous drawing of form and proportion, Vitruvian Man, this exciting original show is characterized by a dazzling display of flourishes and effects based on the whole tone scale. "Mind" is creatively scored to include feature spots for every section of the band, it is impressively supported by a strong percussion score. "Body" features a series of delicate solo passages interspersed with full band "walls of sound" and lush scoring effects. Stunning and totally unique! The show concludes with "Spirit", written in a single tempo and 6/8 meter throughout, this final movement is beautifully paced to bring a satisfying close to this amazing field show. Plenty of variety and intensity is built in with feature spots for the woodwinds, brass and percussion. Exciting and powerful!
