Land, Sea & Air is an 8-minute contemporary showcase that takes audiences from the wonder of human discovery to the boundless freedom of flight, told through three stunning movements of music by one of marching's most celebrated composers, Richard Saucedo.
The show opens with the childlike awe of Cirque du Soleil's Journey of Man — full of curiosity, possibility, and the breathtaking realization that the world is vast and magnificent. From there, Minimally Speaking: Layers builds something mesmerizing beneath the surface, texture upon texture, like the deep and mysterious pull of the ocean. Then Reflections of Light lifts everything skyward in a radiant, soaring finale that floods the field with color and energy.
