ABOUT THE SHOW
Alfred Music has partnered with Blizzard Entertainment to present a stunning three-piece halftime show based on the spectacular music from the popular interactive video game World of Warcraft™ (WoW). Part I begins slowly and mysteriously, then builds to a driving up-tempo section. The innovative, colorful scoring and unique rhythmic drive will engage your band and audience alike. Part II is based on "Lion's Pride," a very rhythmic dance-like tune with an infectious groove. Beginning with an optional flute solo (or soli), the piece builds gradually, featuring virtually every section in the band. Part III begins with the incredibly beautiful "Mountains of Thunder," featuring an optional trumpet solo. It gradually builds, then gives way to the heroic "Wrath of the Lich King" theme. This is cutting-edge music that will thrill both your students and your audience!
